CLS is a non-profit providing, if eligible, free legal advice, clinics and representation to low-income Coloradans and seniors. Learn more here.
Denver Bar Association and Metro Volunteer Lawyers
The Denver Bar Association recognizes that most people cannot afford to hire a private attorney. In a recent report, the Colorado Access to Justice Commission found more than half of all litigants in civil cases had no representation.
To assist the public, the Denver Bar Association’s Access to Justice Committee has assembled a list of pro bono legal resources available to our community. These service providers offer full‑ and limited‑scope representation. If you would like to consult with an attorney but do not need or cannot obtain traditional representation, check out our legal clinics page.
This list has been designed specifically for residents of the City and County of Denver, although many of these organizations provide services for residents of other parts of Colorado. Learn more here.
Mi Casa
In partnership with the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, Mi Casa hosts a FREE Virtual Legal Clinic the second Tuesday of every month from 6-8pm. Participants must make an appointment prior to the night of the event. The areas of law that are covered are General Business, Business Contracts, Trademarks, Copyrights, and Patents, Immigration, and Family. Learn more here.

Women’s Law
Despite its name, WomensLaw.org provides information that is relevant to people of all genders, not just women. Our Email Hotline will provide legal information to anyone who reaches out with legal questions or concerns regarding domestic violence, sexual violence, or any other topic covered on WomensLaw.org. Colorado Poverty Law Project
CPLP is primarily housing focused and prioritizes evictions, but can assist with other issues as well.
At the clinic, individuals can meet one-on-one with our volunteer attorneys to receive general legal information on a range of legal issues. While CPLP is recognized for its expertise in housing law, our clinic continues to serve individuals with questions about other civil legal issues such as custody, government benefits, and personal injury. Our team will also refer individuals in need of further legal assistance or social services to our volunteer network and community partners.
Clinics take place on the third Wednesday of every month from 4-6 pm. Due to COVID-19, all clinics are currently taking place virtually via Zoom. You can RSVP to attend our upcoming clinic. Learn more here.
