This presentation is being presented by BrightView. This organization is committed to personalizing addiction treatment programs to each individual patient. They treat the disease of addiction at the same time they treat the person suffering from it.
The holidays, especially Christmas and New Year’s Eve and the days and nights leading up to it, can be extremely difficult to maneuver for someone in recovery. This virtual presentation will equip you as a provider with the tools on how to discuss with your patients the sometimes-sensitive topics of:
- avoiding relapse in the midst of the holidays; including work parties and family gatherings
- how to help your patients deal with feelings of isolation
- utilizing coping skills to manage the stress of the holidays
- best practices for tackling real life scenarios that patients might face
- including an open discussion where attendees can ask questions to our providers and our PRSS
