Give yourself some space, a few moments of just being, available to relax, reset
Take 45 minutes to decompress
This practice has been shown to help with PTSD and anxiety

iRest has also been shown to increase the absorption of learning concepts. The brain needs down time in order to process what has been heard. The simple process of becoming quiet and mindful can speed comprehension and facilitate recall. Unlike cramming, it causes learning concepts to be transferred into long term memory.
We know that brains that do not have rest, do not learn as well and perform more poorly. I have actually made practices for people who struggle with learning and have big tests they are required to pass.
